Whether you want to learn to fly, enjoy a flight experience, need aviation engineering services or a hangarage for your aircraft - you'll find it all here at Goodwood.
Goodwood Flying School is situated on the central south coast of the UK just north of the City of Chichester between Portsmouth and Brighton.
We have over 40 years experience training PPL/IMC/Night and FIC courses. We use Garmin 1000 Cessna 172's of which we have five which we have just purchased new, and which are all maintained in-house by our own engineering department. Goodwood Aerodrome is part of the Goodwood Estate, home of Lord March and his family and also world famous for the Festival of Speed and the Revival Meeting.
The world's only Spitfire training Academy is based at Goodwood Aerodrome which used to be known as RAF Westhampnett during the war and from where the 31st Fighter Group became the first ever USAF unit to operate from Europe in July 1942.
Customer service is paramount throughout our business and no-where does this show better than within the aviation side. Our instructors cover a wide range of pilots from ex RAF Central Flying School to ex and current commercial pilots and all are well known for being amongst the best that are available to provide quality training. We have an all-grass aerodrome with three runways and benefit from plenty of unrestricted airspace.
