UVU is considered the third largest collegiate aviation program in the U.S. based on student enrollment. Students training at our Provo, Utah facility have the opportunity to fly in the safest, most advanced equipment available. UVU remains an industry trendsetter with an all-Diamond fleet of more than 25 aircraft, multiple flight simulation training devices, excellent classroom facilities, and successful job placement. In addition, an award-winning online degree program caters to aspiring pilots across the country as well as a wide variety of current and future industry professionals. Students can choose to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree with either an emphasis in Aviation Administration or as a Professional Pilot. Associate degree options are also available.
Students who are not able to attend UVU in person can complete either degree online, with the flight training portion of the professional pilot degree being completed conveniently at a local airport. Our program has been in operation since 1988 and our graduates are flying world-wide.
New students may receive experiential credit for pilot certificates or prior training. Utah Valley University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).
